A redesign of the website for Charge, an NYC pre-seed venture firm, built around its founders and the companies they’ve backed

Charge is an NYC pre-seed venture firm that partners with founders at the very start of their journey. Its old site felt stale and didn’t reflect who the firm is, so I redesigned it to center on people: the team behind Charge, the founders it backs, and the companies it has helped launch.
We kept Charge’s original logo and built a fresh editorial system around it. The type pairs a modern serif with a bold sans to put the firm’s message up front. The site runs on Framer’s CMS so the team can add portfolio companies and update content on their own. I also wrote a custom code component so they can restyle key words in headlines without touching code.
